My personal page...stop by, meet the kids!

You can still find classic Squares clips on
Youtube...hurry before the copyright thing does away with them.

...the rest of us talk about a game show called The Hollywood Squares.  And we do it on this email list at Yahoogroups.

Peter Marshall: Boysinger. The site that answers the question, "What's Peter Marshall up to these days?" In fact, Peter himself answers that question.

Paul Lynde: Comedy Legend. The musicals, the sitcoms, the movies, the pilots, the arrests...they're all here.  Great work, Joe!

Paul can't have too many fan sites...
here's another one loaded with clips.

A nice tribute to the perennially single Queen of the Squares,
Rose Marie.

Game Shows '75.  A tribute to a year that set an all time record for most game shows in production (44, with 26 coming from the networks), including The Hollywood Squares.

The most awesome TV nostalgia site on the web...
TV Party truly lives up to its name, and yes, there are some rare audio captures from The Hollywood Squares.

Here's the famous
Jump the Shark site, and its entry for The Hollywood Squares, even if the entry is replete with rude, non-fan comments ("...the show always blew nuts...") and outright inaccuracies (Nipsey Russell as the center square? Paul Lynde fired by NBC daytime president Lin Bolen? Don't think so...)

Here's a doozy of
an urban legend (at least in my opinion) that seems to tie The Hollywood Squares in with the big Y2K anxiety of a few years ago...personally I'm not buying it but I still thought it was interesting...

Check out some of my friends' sites...

If you grew up when
The Hollywood Squares was on NBC, and you left the TV on that channel when Squares was over, you might just hav eseen another true legend...Jeopardy! hosted in those days by Art Fleming (who I spoke to on the phone during his St. Louis radio days.)  Here's a site devoted to that classic.

Feel up to wallowing in some nostalgia?  Here's a great place to do it...Matt
Ottinger's Game Show Home Game Home Page. (Love that title!)  And yes, all three versions of the Hollywood Squares home game from the Marshall years, are all well represented.

Matt also put together an even better supersite payig tribute to quite possibly the greatest host ever...the magnificent
Bill Cullen.  Includes rare clips from his radio shows and his short-lived 1950s variety show

Matt the multi-tasker also built a clearinghouse for nearly all game show sites of one type or another including mine.  It's a
veritible compendium...

A Salute to Game Shows...this one comes from a fellow who lives just down the highway from me in Oxford, Alabama.

The Game Show Convention Center...among other things, includes a tribute to the first Heatter/Quigley game show, Video Village.

The Game $how Page...the one from Chri$ Lambert! that started it all on the net...check out his Classic Squares Zingers.

David Livingston has a site chock full of
game show images including some from the Marshall Squares.

J-Man's Game Show Spectacle...the name says it all.

Those Groovy Game Shows...among many other things, includes a Squares-like Zingers list from the very funny 1970s incarnation of Break the Bank.
